REMAINING FAITHFUL • SOMETHING TO PONDER
When opportunity knocks, open the door and walk through. In retrospect, this has been the philosophy of my life. If we hesitate or overthink a situation, we may miss that opportunity which could be life enhancing. Being a visual learner, visions often come to me. Visions which over time do not dissipate, and I know that it is not my will but the will of my Higher Power who will not let go.
Stay safe. Stay connected.
Blessings and the strength of Love be with you.

VISION
Where there is no vision, the people perish.
– Proverbs 29:18 (KJB)
We know that we perish if we don’t have enough food or rest, that is obvious; we even know that we need beauty or something in us withers – but vision? Yet without vision to follow there is no purpose to life, and our spirit is impoverished. I sometimes wonder if the binge drinking, the attraction to drugs in countries where people have all their basic needs met, and more, is because people have no vision, no purpose in life, despite all the affluence and comfort. To follow a vision, to live the dreams deep within you, can be alarming, exciting, life-giving and exhausting, but you are fully alive.
Prayer
Your will, O God, be done.
Not mine, with my desire for safety,
for comfort, and anything for a quiet life.
Your will, O God, be done.
Not mine, which gets so mixed up
with fear and anger, and those wayward
hurt feelings.
And wishes,
mixed up with wishes is my will.
For pleasure, for wealth – to win, to succeed,
for my family to be happy.
Bring my will in line with Yours.
My will alongside Yours.
So that when I say,
‘Your will be done.’
It is mine too.
