In the fading light, I reach up and hold an apple in my hand. It rests there against the stars just visible through the branches. I smell its sharp-sweet flesh, sense its mystery. I’m holding life and legends in one hand.

For those of you who remember, last year we had our first annual “Everyone Deserves A Smile” campaign. And within a month and the help of community organizations and schools, we were able to put together a total of 180 gift bags for the homeless.
We pray today for all those who provide loving-care for others. May they take time to find a quiet place to restore their energy and regain balance in their daily life.
With this Love within, help us to know the Love that we carry and long to share. As we listen in silence for your still small voice, we long to hear you in the sanctuary of our heart.
