Be strong
Be generous
Don’t ignore those who need you
Don’t damage the earth
Love mercy
Be kind
Be forgiving
Don’t bear grudges
Don’t withhold love
Walk humbly with your God
Be attentive
Be obedient
Don’t run away from wisdom
Don’t wander off the road
Love God with all that you have –
your mind, your heart, your soul,
your dreams, your tears and laughter
And love your neighbour as you love yourself
share your stories and your food
Be salt
Be light
Be leaven
Be happy
Be who you are
Be children of God
Prayer Of The Day
Spirit of Wonder
Each new day opens up unexpected experiences and we appreciate this life given through your grace.
We are called to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with You. When we falter from these directives, be our supporting guide, steadying us along life’s path. We are Your children who sometimes neglect to love our neighbours as we are to love ourselves. Blow your wisdom through us and help us to be more attentive to see Your face in all whom we encounter. We pray these in the name of Jesus, our strength and our hope.
